Returns must be accompanied by original receipt. We cannot accept returns on damaged merchandise. 48 hours to return for a full refund, new or used equipment. One week from date of purchase to return new or used merchandise for EXCHANGE CREDIT at 100% purchase value OR a refund minus a 25% restocking fee. One week repair or replacement (our option) warranty on all used equipment under normal use. After one week, any repair will be charged to customer. Two week in store repair or replacement (our option) warranty on all new equipment. After two weeks, customer must refer to manufacturer's warranty. Repairs performed due to other than normal use will be charged to customer. "Clearance" items are sold as is - no returns, refunds, or credit.
Layaway balances are due within 30 days of original sale unless stated otherwise in writing. A 25% fee will be deducted from the layaway down payment if customer reneges, 15% if exchanged for other merchandise, and 35% on overdue layaways returned to floor for nonpayment according to specified terms, in default of contract. Remainder of payments received shall be refunded via exchange credit on defaults.
We guarantee all of our guitar repairs to your 100% satisfaction, based on the expectations discussed when the repairs are brought in to our store. You will be contacted via telephone when the repair is completed. Repairs not picked up within 30 days of notice of completion shall be considered abandoned and thus become the property of The Trading Musician with no compensation due to customer.
Receive it and love it! Most people do, but if something's not right, we offer 48 hours approval time. If you'd like to return an item, contact us within 48 hours of receipt and we will send a full refund, minus shipping fees upon our receipt of the item. Cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. We cannot accept personal checks for items shipped. We accept money orders, and cashier's checks, but must delay shipping until we can verify that funds have been deposited to our account, usually within 10 business days. All funds must be in U.S. dollars only.
